These words come from some of the folktales we have read.


graceful- to move in a gently and pleasant manner

proclamation-  When something is said and announced to a group of people. 
usually it is pretty important. 

scold- to fuss at someone, 

garments- something you wear, clothes

descend- to go down, a hill or a stairway

ascend- to go up, a hill or a stairway

companion- a friend, someone who goes with you,

rejoice- to be really happy

despair- to be really sad

envy-  When you really want something that someone else has.

blissful- very, very happy

bouquet- a bunch of flowers

consideration- to think about something -"Ill give it my consideration."

parlor- a room, kind of like a living room, where you can sit and talk

cozy- really comfortable

explanation- to tell about something. "I gave an explanation about computers". 

distressed- upset, very unhappy, worried
