My name is Brett Lebowitz. Ages ago, I graduated from the Howard County Public
School System and earned a degree in psychology from the University of
Delaware. Go Blue Hens! From there, I earned a master's degree in teaching
from Johns Hopkins University. I am certified in elementary education and
secondary English, and I have thirteen years of teaching experience. The most
important fact about me, however, is my love for language, laughter, and life!
My name is Renee Richards. After spending ten years as a TV News Reporter and
Producer, I decided to fulfill my dream of becoming a teacher. This is the
third year Brett Lebowitz and I have been co-teaching 8th grade English. We
believe in making the class fun and accessible for all students; our greatest
moments are when we hear students say they didn't expect learning Shakespeare
(or any other topic) could be so cool. I hope to continue this passion with
our students and teach them the real world value of the education they receive
at WLMS.
