This is the county's rubric for grading BCRs and it is the one followed in
this class.

To Get 4 points----------------------------------->A- 95/95

The response demonstrates a complete understanding of the
content and makes an additional connection to other events/personal experience.
o	Answers the question thoroughly
o	Effectively provides/cites evidence to support the answer
o	Explains the evidence clearly and provides details
o	Is specific and clear at all times
o	Uses key terms and vocabulary
o	Provides a connection and elaborates

To Get 3 Points------------------------------------> B - 85/95

The response demonstrates a good understanding of the content.
o	Answers the question 
o	Provides/cites evidence to support the answer
o	Explains evidence clearly and provides details
o	Is specific and clear at all times
o	Uses key terms and vocabulary
     
                To Get 2 Points------------------------------------>C - 75/95

The response demonstrates a general understanding of the content.
o	Partially answers the question 
o	Provides/cites some evidence to support the answer
o	Somewhat explains evidence and provides details
o	Is specific and clear some of the time
o	Uses key terms and vocabulary

To Get 1 Point-------------------------------------> D - 65/95

The response demonstrates a minimal understanding of the content.
o	Barely answers the question 
o	Uses little or no evidence to support the answer
o	Somewhat explains evidence and provides details
o	Is not specific or clear 
o	Does not use key terms and vocabulary

To Get 0 Points------------------------------------>E - 55/95

The response demonstrates no understanding of the content.
o	Does not answer the question 
or answers it incorrectly 
o	Attempts to explain evidence
o	Very unclear and hard to understand
