Welcome to First Grade. My name is Georgia Kalargyros. My last name looks tricky but once you hear it, it is easy to say. Here goes..Ka-large-arus. This is my seventh year of teaching first grade at Woodlin Elementary School.WOW! How time flies. I graduated from The University of Maryland with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education in December 2003. In May 2008, I graduated from
Johns Hopkins University with a Master's Degree in Educational Studies with concentrations in ESOL and Reading Instruction.
My hobbies include reading, baking, shopping and attempting to travel the world. My family comes from the island of Chios, Greece. I venture back their every summer.
