My name is Jenni Smakula and I am very excited to be teaching Kindergarten this year. I have taught first grade for six years here at Woodlin Elementary and I am excited for a new challenge! Last spring, I got engaged and will be getting married next summer on July 10th. I enjoy reading, cooking and playing with new puppy, Sophie.
I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education in May 2003 from Towson University. In May 2006, I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with my Masters degree in Educational Studies with concentrations in Technology Leadership and Gifted Education. Most recently, I earned a post Masters certificate in Administration and Supervision from Towson University in June. I also earned my National Certification in December 2008.
I am very excited about this year and would like to welcome each of you into the Woodlin community. I would always encourage you to ask if you have any questions.
