2nd Quarter 
Special Reminder: All textbooks should remain at home until the end of 
the school year. Unless otherwise noted, assignments are given on the 
date indicated and are due the next class: Block 3A/B students will have 
two days to complete their assignments, unless otherwise noted.

Ongoing Homework: Research and work on your History Day project daily for
15-30 minutes.

November 9, 2009 B-Day
Block 1B
History day project: narrow down your topic by conduct preliminary research. 
Final topics are due on 11/17.  Create the Unit 2 title page on 50R and the
table of contents on p. 51L: Forging a New Nation: include the unit #, title,
pictures/drawings, a unit question etc.. due date: 11/17. Get the History day
time line signed.

November 10, 2009 A-Day
Blocks 1A and 4A

Choose one of the battles of the Revolutionary War and write a short 2-3
paragraph newspaper article on the battle.  Your article will either appear in
the New York Star or the London Times, you decide (each newspaper will have a
distinctive point of view).  Be creative.  American Revolution Quiz: 12/1.
