About The Teacher
I have been teaching for 15 years, 5 years at the high school level and 10 years at the middle school level. I completed my Master's degree in 2003. My undergrad degree is a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the University of Maryland. My Masters degree is from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Career and Technology studies. I have strong interests in Music, Art and Design. I have experience working in construction and production facilities (Industrial and Theatrical). I have managed and fabricated six Art installations at public schools in Howard and Montgomery counties.

Mission
The primary goals of the class are: 1) Increase students technological literacy. 2) Develop problem solving skills. 3) Learn basic tool and product fabrication skills. 4) Develop awareness of the impact of technology on society. These goals are accomplished by doing research assignments, problem solving activities and design challenges.
