Does my son or daughter have homework?

Most homework in science should not take more than 10-15 minutes.
Students should be finishing warm-ups, think capsules, or other
tasks that
were begun in class but not completed. I always have 'study
sheets' signed by
parents before assessments. After assessments, the homework is
always to get a
signature and make corrections which are written out on loose
leaf paper.

Where can I find the homework assignment?

Students should be writing their assignments down in their
assignment
notebooks on a daily basis. Even if there is no homework - write
that! Also,
keep checking the website.

If there is 'no homework,' is there anything else I can do?

Yes! Look at a newspaper or current magazine and check out any
article that pertains to science. Bring it in for our 'current
science' board where we post science articles from around the
world!
