For the week of November 28, 2009.
I hope you had a good Thanksgiving holiday. It's back to a full week this
week, then two more full weeks! We'll continue in Chapter One as we take a
look at the idea of Continental Drift and the proof that was around in 1915.
We'll also look at what was missing that kept Alfred Wegener from proving his
theory. Then we'll look at "sea-floor spreading," and tie it all together with
the Theory of Plate Tectonics. Then test time for Chapter One!
Remember our routine as we read our book.
First I read the section. Second, you read the section and take notes
using the "As You Read" strategy. Then you have questions to answer.
Following the questions you will complete a "Review and Reinforce." After the
Review and Reinforce, you will take a short quiz, "How Well Did I Read?" At
the end of each chapter there will be a chapter test!
Have a great week!
