Middle East Map Activity
For the next several days we will be working on a map activity to help
us better understand the physical setting and locations of key places in the
Middle East and North Africa. This area is of vital importance to Americans
and we need to be familiar with names of countries, cities, bodies of water
and landforms to better study the human cultures and current issues that exist
there. You will have some class time to work on the maps, but you must work
hard at home to finish on time. The maps are due on December 16-17. Map quiz
also on December 16-17. Share ideas with your neighbors. The maps should
contain the following items:
1. A labeled map and color scheme that is neat and well organized. A
political color scheme is appropriate, but a creative scheme with key, such

may enhance your grade.
