Welcome to the Lime Kiln Middle School Art Club! We would like to invite students who is highly interested in visual art and can commit their time to contribute their talents to the school and community throughout the year.

LKMS Art Club meeting schedule:

Every Thursday after school (3:10 pm – 5:10 pm) from October 15th to June 3rd.

*Students must be picked up by their parents/guardian no later than 5 pm every meeting.

 

Mission Statement of LKMS Art Club:

1. To recognize those students who have shown outstanding ability in the field of art.

2. To encourage the creative abilities and talents of the individual student.

3. To promote and raise awareness of visual arts at Lime Kiln.

4. To serve the community.

 

Activities for 2009-2010

* School “Beautification” projects

* Holiday Family Night

* Museum Trip

* High Museum Bird House Project

* Stage design for “Once Upon a Mattress”

* Annual Lime Kiln Art Show (Thursday, 3^rd of June, 2010 )

 

Requirements for joining:

 * Grade level: 7^th or 8^th grade

 * High interest in Art

 * Minimum art grade of a “B”

 * Dedication to visual arts at LKMS

 * Student Application by the due date
