About The Teacher

I am so excited to be part of the Lime Kiln staff again this year.  I have
taught middle school math, from seventh grade resource classes through Algebra
2/Trig, for 31 years in Prince George's County, MD. and one year in Howard
County. My Maryland certification is an advanced professional certificate in
secondary mathematics.  I graduated many years ago (too many to mention) from
East Stroudsburg University with a B.S. degree in secondary mathematics
education.  My master's degree is from the University of Maryland in 
Counseling and Personnel Services.  I love the middle schooler's excitement
for life and energy level and I look forward to getting to know your student.

I have three teenagers of my own; a daughter entering 10th grade attending 
Arundel High School in Anne Arundel County, a son entering 12th grade also
attending Arundel High School, and a son who is a sophmore at Virginia Tech.
