Ms. Ott was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She lived in several
different small towns across the state. Upon graduating high school, she
attended Allegheny College near Erie, PA and focused her studies on
English Literature, Psychology and French. While she attended Allegheny,
she had the opportunity to study abroad in London, England and was awarded a
semester internship with the London Sunday Times Magazine. During her time abroad she also
ventured to Ireland, Scotland, Belgium and France. After
college she moved to Baltimore and worked in advertising until she decided
to make the career choice her mother and many of her friends made—
teaching! She attended the Johns Hopkins University School of Education and
has her Masters in Secondary English. Now, she is excited to teach at her
new school, Lime Kiln Middle. In her spare time, Ms. Ott loves to walk
and play with her Basset Hound puppy, Harley, travel to different cities,
read (of course!), bake, cook, download and listen to music and watch
movies.
