About The Teacher Label: About The Teacher I'm Mrs. Paula Palatella and I am the 7th grade reading teacher at Mount View Middle School. I'm starting my fourth year at MVMS and my 28th year of teaching. I previously taught in Prince George's County for 18 years. Before coming to Mount View I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade reading and English at Lime Kiln Middle School. I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and my masters degree in School Administration and Supervision. I live in Sykesville with my husband,John,and three children ages 15, 13, and 11. All three children are involved in travel soccer which means I spend most of my free time on the soccer field. If I'm not on the "pitch" my two girls have me shopping in the malls. Don't be surprised to find me in Hollister, Abercrombie, American Eagle, etc. I love watching the Redskins. I also enjoy gardening, reading, scrapbooking, and watching a few of my favorite television shows.
