2nd period Biology HomeworkWEEK ELEVEN: NOV. 9 - 13 MON. Read p. 79 - 81. Answer q. 2 & 3 on p. 85. Keep this and add each night on cells to this page. TUES. Read over p. 82 - 85. on vesicles. (Add on to Monday's homework.) Describle the role of the Golgi. List and describe the 5 different types of vesicles. Answer q. 5 on p. 85. WED. Read section 4. 4 on plant cells. Answer q. 1 - 5 on p. 90. THURS. Study for a quiz on organelles, the difference between plant and animal cells and the difference between prokaryotic cells and eukaryotic cells. WEEK TEN: NOV. 2 - 5TH MON. Read p. 21 - 22. Answer q. 1 - 4 on p. 24 in the section review. Find and print a picture that was taken with a Scanning Electron Microscope and one taken with Transmission Electron Microscope. TUES. Read section 4-1 from p. 69 to 72 and answer q. 1 - 5 in the questions for review on p. 72. WED. Read section 4-2 from p. 73 - 75. NUMBER and define the bold-faced words. There are six of them. Read through the table 4-2 on the functions of organelles in the cell. THURS. Complete the cell worksheet over the long weekend. No school on Friday. CHECK OUT THE COOL LINKS AND POWER POINTS TO HELP YOU STUDY FOR THE COUNTY 1 ASSESMENT. WEEK NINE: OCT. 26 - 30 -NOTE: We will be doing lab this Tuesday, Oct. 27th so wear closed-toed shoes. MON. Complete the front side (with the drawings) of the enzyme worksheet. TUES. Complete catalase lab write up. WED. & THURS. Study for the county test which will be on Friday. Use the power points and links to review. The test covers the scientific method, water, macromolelcules, pH, and enzymes. FRI. NONE |
