This week you will be seeing the movie "Beethoven." You will see this movie in English with Spanish subtitles. Your "Learning Targets" are to:
Monday: Record in your notebook: 25 NEW Spanish words that I learned in this film. Be sure to record in both Spanish and English!
Tuesday: Record in your notebook: 25 words that you already know..along with the ENGLISH meaning.
Wednesday: Finish movie..no written assignment. You may then use extra time to either browse my teacher webpage or to play a Spanish game from my website.
Thursday/Friday: Complete the "Spanish-Speaking packet for a MAJOR Learning Target grade. Packet due Friday...no late packets will be accepted.

6) Come up with a NEW and BETTER MNEMONIC for remembering the Spanish-speaking countries; then make a LARGE poster with the mnemonic and countries listed in large, colorful letters.
7) UN DESAYNUNO GRATIS DE PANQUEQUES...a free Pancake breakfast poster.
8) DEVELOP AND COLLECT A LIST OF PROPS FOR POSSIBLE SKITS
9) Body Parts Poster...Minimum of 25 body parts! Make it LARGE, COLORFUL, PRINT ALL SPANISH BODY PARTS...TITLE: EL CUERPO ("The Body"). BE CREATIVE!
10) Make a LARGE PUZZLE of CENTRAL AMERICA or SOUTH AMERICA. Make it colorful...label each country NEATLY in BLOCK LETTERS.
