I can talk about SEVEN (Goya, El Greco, Velázquez, Rivera, Kahlo, Sorolla, Picasso) major Spanish artists and can identify characteristics of their artwork.
Students will create keynotes about each artist and present them to the class next week.

Project: Mi Casa Ideal"- House plans for my ideal house!  Please have a minimu of 20 vocabulary words for your houseplans!  Also, you are to do a layout of your ideal room.  Please have a minimum of 15 vocabulary words for your ideal room.  You may create these on your laptop or use 8.5 x 11" or poster paper.  Assignment due on Thursday, January 13th!  You will be graded on accuracy of spelling, neatness, CREATIVITY, and thoroughness!  Have fun!

PROJECT CHOICES!!!!  You may work alone or with ONE partner to complete one of the following projects.  If time allows, you may choose to do a second project for EXTRA-CREDIT!
PLEASE NOTE: I will explain each of these projects thoroughly on Monday.

2) Cool Expressions posters...10 LARGE POSTERS
3) LARGE body parts puzzle
4) Develop a GAME that can be used to review TIME, BODY PARTS, DAYS, MONTHS, etc.
5) Research TEN new websites that you recommend that I hadd to my website..be sure I do not have them on my site already.
6) Come up with a NEW and BETTER MNEMONIC for remembering the Spanish-speaking countries; then make a LARGE poster with the mnemonic and countries listed in large, colorful letters.
7) UN DESAYNUNO GRATIS DE PANQUEQUES...a free Pancake breakfast poster.
8) DEVELOP AND COLLECT A LIST OF PROPS FOR POSSIBLE SKITS
9) Body Parts Poster...Minimum of 25 body parts!  Make it LARGE, COLORFUL, PRINT ALL SPANISH BODY PARTS...TITLE:  EL CUERPO ("The Body").  BE CREATIVE!

10) Make a LARGE PUZZLE of CENTRAL AMERICA or SOUTH AMERICA.  Make it colorful...label each country NEATLY in BLOCK LETTERS.
 

11) SKIT...Write a simple skit (minimum of ten lines each) incorporating ONLY material learned thus far.  Then film it on your laptop to show to the class.  Be sure Sr. Sferes proofs the draft skit for you and review pronunciation.
