Madame Fisher La classe de français wfisher@fps.k12.me.us Last week students continued to practice animal vocabulary with lotto-listening and putting a chip on the animal that I say as well as tic tac toe in pairs or groups of three. Students had to say the name of the animal before being able to put their chip on the square. At the end of the week, we began to write sentences based on illustrations of animals situated around a table. "Le lion est sur la table. Ask your child to sing the preposition song for you. They will use their hands to show each preposition. Next week we will continue with animal and preposition vocabulary. I am available before and after school most days by appointment. Español, Señora Lowery elowery@fps.k12.me.us This week in Spanish we wrapped up the unit on masculine and feminine nouns with a spoken assessment, in which students named 3 items independently and without references. Students that earned less than a 3 are welcome to stay after, or meet me by appointment, to retake the assessment. Next week we will learn the days of the week, and at the start of classes from now on students will answer the question ¿Qué día es? (What day is it?).
