FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions: This page contains answers to common questions of students and parents.
  1. What is the homework policy?
  2. What happens if I don't turn in my homework?
  3. When can I get some extra help?

What is the homework policy?

Students should do their best to complete assignments. If a student is unable
to finish after giving it a sincere effort, the student may
write a note explaining what caused the difficulty. I will be happy to help
the following day.

What happens if I don't turn in my homework?

If you bring in a note, you are excused and can bring it back the next day.
If you do not have a note, you will receive a late slip which needs to be
filled out explaining what happened and why your homework was incomplete. The
late slip will need to be signed by a parent. After the 1st offense, there
will be additional consequences such as missing recess to finish the
assignment, staying after school, and making an action plan with the teacher
and then parents.

When can I get some extra help?

Extra Help will be available two times a week. Please check this website to
see the days each week. I am also available at recess (unless I
have duty) and before school.
