This is my sixth year teaching 5th grade at Falmouth Middle School. Prior to
this experience, I taught third grade in New York for three years.
I currently hold a Maine Professional teaching certificate in elementary
education. I received my undergraduate degree from Marywood University, in
Scranton, PA, and my Master's degree from Long Island University, in
Brookville, NY.
I grew up in Pennsylvania, but recently moved to Maine from Long Island, New
York. My husband and I live in Freeport with our seven year old son, Kyle.
My goal as a teacher is to act as a facilitator of children's learning. I
strive to create a classroom environment based on high expectations, respect,
and encouragement where each child gets the opportunity for hands-on
involvement. I am dedicated to addressing the individual needs of each child
and developing effective collaborative relationships with fellow teachers and
parents.
