Scholastic & the French library

Scholastic Canada "Clubs de lecture"
NOTE:  Scholastic Canada ordering has ended for the 2012-2013 school year, but will resume in Spetember.  Merci!

You may now place an order from the _______ flyer. The link to the ______ flyer is located below. If you would like to place an order for your K-3 child, I would recommend a LEVEL 1  book or a cd of songs in French. If you would like to place an order for a more advanced child, I would recommend a LEVEL 1, 2, or possibly a level 3 (or a cd of songs) depending on your child's level of comfort in French. Please feel free to ask me for advice if you are considering making a purchase.
Ordering for this issue will close on ___________________. Please make your check out to Scholastic Canada for the $ amount(s) listed on the order form under the column entitled "É-U; en $US." Completed order forms with check payments should be returned to me or handed in to Julie Downs in the office to be given to me.

Merci!

Special thanks to the family of Emily in 3rd grade, who donated money last year so that I could order a book for our French library!  The school now owns a book entitled Mon chien parle (My dog talks). Merci beaucoup!!!

If anyone else would consider making a purchase to donate to the French library, your generosity would be greatly appreciated.

The French Library
I am working with Amy Gertner, our library Ed Tech "formidable" and the Hope School Volunteers to increase the French offerings in the library. Five new French titles ordered from the September issue of Clubs de Lecture have been added to the shelves and are available for checkout!  I also have a copy of David that can be borrowed. Take a look and check 'em out!
FRENCH STORIES ON CD:
I have spent time over the course of the year recording some of the French books available in our library. These can be checked out complete with cd of the story for your child's listening pleasure!
