In order to successfully complete this project, you will need to complete
each of the following tasks:
1. Obtain a worksheet from your teacher that needs to be completely filled
out. Log on and go to the following websites to find the necessary
information for your worksheet and to help you in choosing your biome:

2. Once you have completely filled out the worksheet, take it to your
teacher for checking off. At this point, you need to start researching your
biome, going only to the websites I've included or books from the library.
Remember to write down all the bibliographic information
from a source as you're using it. You won't want to have to come back later
and try to find the books or websites you used.
3. While you are researching your biome, keep the
following in mind:
a. put the information into your own words, copying word for word is
called plagiarism and it's against the law
b. use sources other than just the web
c. keep all your information in a notebook or on notecards, making sure
to get all the necessary bibliographic information
d. organize information into sections by topic, making sure to label
(plants, animals, climate, etc.)
4. Once your teacher has given you the go ahead, you may start on your
project
5. Remember that you will be receiving a grade for your productiveness
during the project.
