FOURTH GRADE LUNCH GROUPS: All fourth graders will have lunch with me three
times before the December holiday. Each class will be divided into about
four groups of five students. These lunches are considered "friendly
visits." We will eat lunch, chat, and play games. (We usually play some
version of "hangman" -- states and capitals, sports teams, and my personal
favorite - dog breeds.) The purpose of these groups is to have the students
get to know their classmates and me a little better.
Small groups may be offered at Marshwood Great Works School throughout
the school year. These groups will be on an as needed (or requested)
basis. Topics for groups include (but are not limited to): divorce; grief;
social skills/friendship; anger management; and study skills. A student will
not be in one of these groups without parental notification/consent.
