The Session Two of Girls Inc will begin December 16. "I Am Strong" is a nine week session that will focus on danger prevention and self-defense. Girls will learn self-defense techniques to protect themselves from harm. Health and safety issues will be explored in a variety of contexts. Girls will explore how they can overcome peer-pressure and make smart decisions. Special emphasis will be placed ob how to resist prejudice and bullying. Girls Inc meets from 3:00 - 5:00 at the Great Works School (in the guidance classroom). The cost is $75. Financial help is available if needed.
