The Session Two of Girls Inc will begin December 16. "I Am Strong" is a nine
week session that will focus on danger prevention and self-defense. Girls
will learn self-defense techniques to protect themselves from harm. Health
and safety issues will be explored in a variety of contexts. Girls will
explore how they can overcome peer-pressure and make smart decisions. Special
emphasis will be placed ob how to resist prejudice and bullying.
Girls Inc meets from 3:00 - 5:00 at the Great Works School (in the guidance
classroom). The cost is $75. Financial help is available if needed. The
facilitator is Meredith Post, enrichment specialist for Girls Inc of New
Hampshire. If you have any questions, or are in need of financial assistance,

The third session of Girls Inc will begin sometime in March. More information
will be posted as the time draws closer.
