Ms. Mauger loves ALL kinds of books and would love to hear what you have
to say about anything that you have read too. Your input is valuable. If you
have a specific book that you'd like to recommend, it can be added to the
student recommend display.
Ms. Mauger graduated from Norwich University with a BA in English so her
love of literature and the power of words has played a big part in her
education. She has also completed her Master's degree In Library and
Information Science and has learned better ways to serve every member of the
school community with information and literacy resources.
She is also an outdoor enthusiast, loves the mountains, and spends as
much time as she can hiking sections of the Appalachian Trail (AT)and various
peaks in the northeast, both in winter and summer. If you are looking for
resources about hiking trails in New England or want to know more about the
AT, come see her. So far, she has completed all the AT in NH and Maine, some
in Vermont, and about 100 miles in Virginia. You might say that she's a little
obsessed. She also loves to snowshoe, kayak, rollerblade, bike, and ski. You
may even see her roller blading around the track or snowshoeing in the fields
behind the school during lunch. Her second job is at the Kittery Trading Post
where she works in the Camping and PaddleSports departments, a perfect fit!
Some of her favorite books are Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop
Cafe, Mama Makes Up Her Mind, Walk Two Moons, A Long Way From Chicago, The
Mists of Avalon, and Prodigal Summer.
