Thermometer Project:
1. Students must start readings in the morning and take 3 readings per day
for five consecutive days.Make sure you start both of your readings on the
same day and finish them on the same day.
2. Students have until November 16 to complete this project
3. Because of the large number of households without thermometers, I will
allow students to make their morning and afternoon readings at school, and I
will supply them with the evening reading.
4. Temperature Reading Procedures are in each student’s booklet.
5. Students will also need to go on line to obtain the High and Low
Temperature for the city they selected. See website marked “Temperature
Project” on the Science Links Page. Predicted temperature may be substituted
here, but it must be done daily.
6. Average Daily Temperature is found by averaging the highest and lowest
temperature for that day.
