Math classes- There is no homework for students over vacation, except for the weekly extra credit.  We 
will continue with fractions in January, and this unit will last most of the month since it involves adding, 
subtracting, multiplying fractions as well as converting to decimals and percent. This is probably the 
most important unit of the year.

Transitions class- The Chapter 2 test will be on Wednesday, Jan. 6.  On Monday, 1/4, we will review 2-
8, graphing inequalities.  On Tuesday we will review the whole chapter.  The homework for Monday and 
Tuesday will be the chapter review questions, odd, from the end of the chapter.  Students can do these 
questions over vacation, if they choose.  Optional chapter projects will be due Friday, 1/8.  Students 
should email me if they have questions about the chapter project.  

NOTE to ALL STUDENTS:

I will be chaperoning the King Pine/Gunstock program in Jan and Feb, necessitating a change in my
