Homework for the week of December 7th:

Ms. Gallo's English Class> We are now in the last month of this decade.
Write a descriptive essay
that details some of the notable events that happened during this decade.
Events identified can be
ones that are important in your own personal life (such as the day you first
were able to reach the
top of the rock climbing wall or when you got your beloved pet). You may
also choose to identify
historic events. Your essay should be no longer than a page in length. This
is due Friday.

Ms. Gallo's Math Class>

First, calculate the following:

1. The ratio of boys to girls in your math class 2. The ratio of teachers to
students in your math class
3. The ratio of male teachers to female teachers you have for this trimester

Next, take these ratios and present them as percents.
Your answers need to be presented in full sentences using the data you
found.

Example: Ten percent of the students in class are male. Ninety percent are
female.
