Mr. Barter-Language Arts (Nov. 9-13)

This week students will be using a literature anthology in class and working
on a story called "The
Treasure of Lemon Brown." Most of the work will be done in class. We only have
a little over a class
set of this anthology so usually I 'd rather not send any books home except
for a long absence.
Monday's work includes a vocabulary preview, and reading the story. Follow up
questions will take
place Tuesday. A vocabulary quiz on the words selected from this story will be
taken Friday.

Homework for the week should include at least three days of independent
reading, using the silent
reading books.
