Hi!

It has been a wonderful first week of school. While  Mrs. Martin was not with 
us physically, she shared her love with all the kids via Skype. We chatted 
live with visual from China on Tuesday morning. Technology is amazing!

We did a lot of team building this week and set behavioral norms. Your 
children were very mature as they worked with us through this process. We 
also spent some time learning about our multiple intelligence strengths and 
learning styles. Our hope is that our students will appreciate themselves as 
learners, capitalize on their strengths as they learn to overcome challenges, 
and that as teachers, we can better meet their individual needs. Ask your 
child about their learning style and multiple intelligence strengths.

We are off to a great start and know this is going to be a great year. This 
class is certainly living up to its reputation!

Have a great long weekend - it looks like the weather is going to be 
outstanding!
