About The Teacher
Ms. Camp has spent her professional career advocating for children. Before attending graduate school, she worked as a case manager at an adolescent group home and as a Guardian ad litem for abused and neglected children in the court system. In 2002, Ms. Camp graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Master of Arts in Counseling. She is currently in her 10th year supporting students at MMS. When she is not at school, Ms. Camp enjoys reading, spending time outside with her dog, Theo, and hanging out with her niece and nephew. Ms. Ring has been working with students of all ages since she graduated from Keene State College with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. After earning her Masters of Education in Counseling from the University of New Hampshire, Ms. Ring joined the MMS community and is currently in her 7th year. Outside of school, Ms. Ring and her family enjoy being outdoors hiking and spending time at the beach. Mrs. Fegan is in her 2nd year as the Wellness Counselor for both the middle school and the high school. She has earned her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology and is currently pursuing her License as a Clinical Professional Counselor. In addition to these qualifications, Mrs. Fegan holds both Health Education and Guidance Counselor Certifications. This is her 13th year as a public school educator. Mrs. Fegan is an avid runner and enjoys spending time with her family and their dog, Fenway. In January, the MMS guidance counselors welcomed Lori Akerley, a 2nd year intern at the University of New Hampshire. Ms. Akerley spends one day a week here at MMS and two days a week at Rye Elementary School in Rye, NH. Ms. Akerley is pursuing her Masters of Education in Counseling and is excited about a career as a school guidance counselor. She will graduate in May 2012. Ms. Akerley spends her free time as a Girls on the Run coach in Rye, planning for her upcoming wedding, and training for road races.
