classroom plus $300 worth of books for their school library. Sponsored by
the
Maine Humanities Council and the Maine World Affairs Council and the 5
College Center for East Asian Studies in Amherst, MA.
Named by the National Council for Economic Education to be one of 12 U.S.
educators involved in the Training of Writers program in Bucharest, Romania
in Sept. 2003. Participants will be required to develop an economics lesson
plan that uses an interactive approach. The 12 American educators will work
jointly with teachers from 9 different Eastern European countries.
