About The Teacher
I graduated with a BS in Education from the University of Maine in 1993. This will be my seventeenth year teaching seventh grade math. There is nothing I'd rather be doing! During this time, I also completed my graduate degree and earned a M.Ed. in Technology Education from Lesley College. I enjoy learning new skills on the computer, photography, scrapbooking, traveling, skiing, and playing with my sons, Jonah and Jaden. This past summer my family spent two weeks traveling in Italy, Greece and Turkey. I even met another teacher from Australia who worked in an IB school!

Mission
My goal is to provide a classroom where every child feels safe to take risks, make mistakes and is challenged. Mathematics is such an important skill in our society I want to make students realize that they are capable students of mathematics.
