One of our butterflies escaped into our classroom! This one was a male, do you know how to tell?  Look at the tiny dots on his bottom wings, that's how you can tell the male monarchs from the females!

Isibella's Hermit Crabs visit our Morning Meeting, it was a lot of fun observing them!  Then, we borrowed a brand-new nonfiction book from Mrs. Jackson in the library to explore our "wonders" even more!

When we released our butterflies, we wrote down words that described what we saw, but they flew so rapidly we couldn't even get a photo of them outside!

Our "guests" from Mrs. C's yard!  We read this beautifully written and illustrate book about a little boy with an amazing imagination!  We got to observe the salamanders for real, up close!
