Thanks to many of you for the timely submission of your "Recession Reaction"
papers last week. If you have not yet turned it in, Wednesday is the last day

"recession." We have a handout to read (at home). It will be important to mark
the margins with four or five important points.
Due Friday!
You have the opportunity to earn the required grade for a small online
research project. "How might the current economic recession affect me and my
family?" This should be the heading of a short reaction paper you should
research. Sum up your findings and sources on one to two pages. You can
include copied and pasted excerpts from online sources, but you should include
an EQUAL amount of personal comment. This reaction paper should be
computer-generated, not hand-written. "A" papers will stand out in the class,
because they will be turned in by students who took the task seriously:
finding a variety of sources, a variety of comments with different points of
view, and a final paper that reflects concern for neatness and readability!
