Bedford Public Schools Instructional Technology

The following are known problems in TAC that have been reported to to the ISD and Pentamation Support and they are working on solving: As the problems are reported as being solved, this page will be updated and will indicate when we received notice that the problem was resolved.

• Problem Resolved  In TAC, pictures are not displaying in Class List>seating chart. (reported to ISD 9/26/07)
• Problem Resolved. In TAC, file attachments are uploading from the file folder icon on the assessment tab, but the Attachments tab in TAC still errors out when clicked on. (reported to ISD on 10/29/07)
• Pentamation said this is functioning as it should so parents and students can see the assignments and grades that were completed prior to dropping a class. In HAC, JHS and SHS students who dropped and added a different class are still seeing the dropped class teacher assignments and scores, even though they have been dropped and added to another class correctly in eschool+. (reported to ISD 9/14/07)
• Mac Safari web browser may not save scores entered into the gradebook. Mac users using IE, the scores page display is skewed. (problem reported to ISD on 10/19/07)
• Users cannot enter information into TAC with Safari (Mac) internet browsers. Users are instructed to use Firefox or Internet Explorer when using TAC. (problem reported to ISD 9/5/07.)
• Problem Resolved 10/19/07-When printing gradebook, columns on the right side of each page get cut off. See work-around solution on Q & A for TAC Gradebook page #13. (problem reported to ISD on 9/27/07)
• Problem Resolved 10/07--In TAC, file attachments are uploading from the file folder icon on the assessment tab, but the Attachments tab in TAC still errors out when clicked on. (reported again to ISD on 9/14/07)
• Problem Resolved 9/24/07 Reports of teachers who can see their assessment page for a class but when the click on scores button, the page results in an error. Two cases reported from BJHS. (problem reported to ISD 9/17/07.) 
• Problem Resolved 9/13/07 Student averages are not calculating correctly, zeros display for student averages, until this issue is fixed, you can force a calculation of the student average by clicking on the PR 10/19 tab (at the SHS), or the PR 10/5 tab (at the JHS) on the upper right side of the score page. Once you click out of the page and return, the student average will return to zeros until Pentamation gets the issue resolved. As they work on the problem from their end, you may find that our temporary fix might not work when you try it.) (Problem reported to ISD as of 9/11/07 at 8:30 am)
• Problem Resolved 9/13/07 TAC attachments that are uploaded are not displaying in HAC for students to download or view. (Problem reported to ISD as of 9/4/07 at 2:09 pm.)
• Problem Resolved 9/13/07 Students and Parents cannot see (it errors out when clicked) the assignment extended description that teacher types in the MORE box within the assignment entry area. (Problem reported to the ISD as of 9/4/07 at 2:09 pm.)
• Problem Resolved 9/13/07 A problem being reported on 9/12 is when a teacher clicks on the list link from the TAC home page and clicks on the report button, they receive an error and the list cannot be generated. Until this issue is fixed, teachers can go to the score area (gradebook), click on the printable button to print a class list or export to excel and print the list. For directions, go to the General  TAC Q & A page and look at #12.  (Problem reported to the ISD as of 9/11/07 at 2:00 pm.)
