I am in my fourteenth year of teaching. This is my thirteenth year teaching
5th grade at Temperance Road Elementary. I currently hold
a Master's degree in Elementary Education and have 15 credits beyond
my Master's.
I truly enjoy being a part of my students' lives everyday. My goal is to
provide a nurturing environment that will challenge my students in a fun and
motivating way.
The most important thing for me is to make sure that students know I will
respect them, and expect they will do the same towards me and their fellow
classmates. Learning to me, goes way beyond the academic aspect of school. I
want my students to believe in themselves and to always show great character
towards others.
My mission is to make sure I offer a safe and non-threatening environment
that is conducive to learning. I try to relate our curriculum to the real
world, in order for the students to apply what they learn in school.
Therefore, making their learning experience as meaningful and enjoyable as
possible.
