Dear Parents and Guardians:
Hello, my name is Mrs. Bayles and I will be your child’s math teacher this year. I welcome you and your child to the 2012-2013 school year at Communication and Media Arts High School. I am looking forward to working with you and your child. I believe that “It takes a village to raise a child”, and that everyone succeeds more when we work as a T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More).
During this school year your child will be further developing ACT math skills and strategies or developing their math skills in the area of. Precalculus. Note-taking, listening, and critical thinking skills are a necessity to ensure your child’s success. Please encourage your child(ren) to continue to develop these skills throughout the school year.
Your child's needed school supplies are included in their individual course syllabus. Also included in their syllabus is a copy of my grading criteria, class rules and procedures, and any other pertinent information needed to ensure your child's academic success in my class.
