November 23

Social Studies:  Have fun working on your Trade Fair wares over
                            the holiday.  These are due on December 14th.


November 20

Reading:  If you have not yet finished reading The Green Book,
                  do so this weekend.  Your comprehension questions 
                  are due next Tuesday (But I'll accept them on Monday!).

Writing:   The final draft of your comparison paper is due next
                  Tuesday.  Finish your revising and editing work.
 


November 19

Reading:  Reading Log due tomorrow.  Finish up your reading and
                  summary sentences.  Do your best & don't forget to have
                  your parent sign your form.

Writing:  Work on editing and revising your comparison paper.
                 Begin your second draft with the improvements you made.

Math:  Shapes and Designs Unit Test - Day 2 is tomorrow



November 18

Reading:  Read for 30 minutes and write your summary sentences.

Writing:  Write the first draft of your introduction and conclusion for
                 your comparison paper.  Bring them to class tomorrow.

Math:  Shapes and Designs Unit Test - Day 1 tomorrow



November 17

Reading:  Read for 30 minutes tonight

Writing:  Finish the body paragraph of your comparison paper tonight.
                Bring both your paragraph and your Venn Diagram tomorrow.


November 16

Reading:  New reading log; read 30 minutes, record your time, and write
                  interesting summary sentences.

Writing:    Three to four paragraph comparison paper due next Tuesday.
                  Share the handout packet with your parents.  Remember to bring
                  the work that you complete at home to school each day.  Your
                  Pre-write (Venn Diagram) is due tomorrow.

Vocabulary:  Finish recording your words in category lists in your Word 
                       Study journal


November 13

Math:  Finish Problem 3.4 and Math Reflections #3 this weekend
            if you didn't complete them in class.

Reading:  Make sure you have your book club novel Monday.
