| Welcome Back to school and 6th grade! I am looking forward to meeting
all of you at the open house or the first day of school. Parents, a sixth
grade parent meeting will be offered late September to go over the sixth
grade year.
I would like to get each parent's e-mail address so that I can send you
my newsletters, volunteer soliciatations, and any last minute information of
which you need to be aware.
I will also maintain a grade program website called snapgrades that will
allow you to view your child's progress in science and social studies at any
time convenient for you. This is in addition to the regular mid-term and
final term reports. Students can and should check this site regularly, too!
This website will be updated weekly with calendar changes and additions,
major assignments, and my broad class goals for the week. I do not record
small daily assignments - those will be kept track of in our DAB's.
I hope both teacherweb.com and snapgrades.net help you and your student
feel informed and current about science and social studies classes.
