About The Teacher

This is my 4th year teaching in the Gibraltar School District.  I have been 
teaching for 7 years.  I received my Bachelors degree from Eastern Michigan 
University with an Early Childhood Endorsement.  I continued my 
education at the University of Michigan, where I received my Master's 
degree with a Reading Specialist endorsement.  

I also trained in the Orton-Gillingham method-a kinestetic approach for 
phonetic and literacy development.


I live with my husband, two children and German Shepherd.

Mission For The Class

My mission is to work hand and hand with parents to develop independent 
learners who have a love of learning. Using the Love and Logic approach I 
will provide a safe, nurturing, and individualized environment where all 
students will learn daily through a variety of educational strategies based 
upon best practices.
