On The “Rayder”

Teen Film Festival at the Library for grades 7 - 12. Make a film, submit it to the library, watch it with your peers on the library big screen. Start filming now! Due February 2nd and the festival showings are on Friday, February 19th. Inquire at Youth Services for film application or call 237-7350.

SEMINARS -- If you have collected any Toys for Tots stuff, let Ms. Sid know how many you have and then get them into the box in the front office. The marines will collect it any day.

ALSO, the coat drive until after Christmas so that we can make a more valiant effort on this. Kid's coats, adult coats, gently used, all this works. The seminar with the most donations will win a build your own ice cream sundae party in January. Pass the word in your seminar and clean out your closets!

Rockin’ Rayders of the Day

Mersadz Schmidt has done a fantastic job in English 2, and has worked so hard over the past two weeks raising her grade.

Jeff Podolski is really impressing me with his great efforts in English I. He really gives it his all and on top of that he's just a really respectful and kind young man!

Happy Birthday!

Kayla Kehrer

For next week: Nicole Pischner (23), Maura Brandi and Ty Jones (24)

Word of the Day:

cottonheaded ninny muggin: one who isn't living up to his or her full elf potential.

River worried that the teacher would be a cottonheaded ninny muggin by not using his favorite word in the announcements, but he had nothing to worry about.
