Step One As a class, we will discuss what is important in sustaining life. Step Two Choose your role. Step Three Conduct research. There are resources listed under each role as well as a search engine. Don't forget to include books and encyclopedias! Step Four Share your data with your mission. Step Five Travel to Pluto with the other members of your mission to gather data. Step Six Evaluate your data as a group. 1. Do you have enough information to make a decision? 2. What other information do you need? 3. Where will you find this information? Step Seven Choose the best planet based on your information. Step Eight Your group must create a poster with the following elements: 1. Color drawing of the planet 2. Why it is most likely to support life 3. Facts from your data sheet 4. Why this planet was the best choice (compare it to other planets) 5. Interesting facts Make sure your poster is neat and colorful! Think of Mrs. Montero's presentation earlier this year about making interesting posters! Step Nine Your group must present your poster to the class. Each astronaut must present one part of the presentation. The evaluation page shows how you will be graded.
