Process

Step One
As a class, we will discuss what is important in sustaining life.

Step Two
Choose your role.

Step Three
Conduct research. There are resources listed under each role as well as a
search engine.

Don't forget to include books and encyclopedias!

Step Four
Share your data with your mission.

Step Five
Travel to Pluto with the other members of your mission to gather data.

Step Six
Evaluate your data as a group.

1. Do you have enough information to make a decision?
2. What other information do you need?
3. Where will you find this information?

Step Seven
Choose the best planet based on your information.

Step Eight
Your group must create a poster with the following elements:
1. Color drawing of the planet
2. Why it is most likely to support life
3. Facts from your data sheet
4. Why this planet was the best choice (compare it to other planets)
5. Interesting facts

Make sure your poster is neat and colorful! Think of Mrs. Montero's
presentation earlier this year about making interesting posters!

Step Nine
Your group must present your poster to the class. Each astronaut must present
one part of the presentation.

The evaluation page shows how you will be graded.
