Announcements for Students and Parents

ATTENTION STUDENTS: SINCE WE HAVE NO HOMEROOM PERIOD NOW, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE
FOR READING THE BULLETIN DAILY.... EVERY DAY.

PARENTS... Things to take note of:

1. Hair check days for your sons will be second and fourth Friday each month.
Have them fix the doo ... and follow the dress code!

2. Parents are encouraged to join us for weekly Liturgy at 7:30 am every
    Tuesday morning.

3. REPORT CARD INFORMATION IS NOW ON LINE. ASK YOUR SONS TO SHOW YOU HOW TO
    WORK THE COMPUTER.....

4. Grades are posted by me every SUNDAY. If you need to check scores in
between times, ask your son to show you the sheet he SHOULD BE keeping
that contains his grades almost the same day he takes the quizzes or
tests. I have given them a form to use and there is a copy on this
on this website under "handouts" which can be downloaded and printed
for your's and your son's convenience.

5. The CALENDAR section of this website is NOT updated at this time.
In both your parent handbook and your son's handbook, there is a monthly
calendar section. Due to a lack of time, this area may not be maintained
by Mr. Turner. Sorry! Please refer to your handbooks for now.

6. Come help deliver for Focus Hope on the second Saturday of every month.
The group meets at school at 8:30 AM.

7. Parents are reminded that sweaters, though they may be nice, are
not in dress code if they are not DLS sweaters with the DLS logo. Make
sure you familiarize yourselves with the dress code here at De La Salle,
it is stringently enforced. Help make sure your son knows what he can
and cannot wear. As winter approaches, please make sure that your son is
in dress code...no short sleeves over long sleeves, and no sweaters or
fleece clothing other than DLS sweaters. If he complains of being cold
in class,he should know how to properly dress...short sleeves in winter
are not proper dress if one wants to be warm.

8. Encourage your Junior and Senior sons to go on the Kairos Retreat coming
up in November. If he he would like to go, have him get the forms when
    they become available.

9. The Student Council can always use your help chaperoning the dances.
Please consider helping out. Contact Mrs. Michol to volunteer.

"TO STUDENTS:" STUDY for quizzes on prayers and notes given in class.
