The biggest word in third grade math is YELLOW   MATH   SHEETS Everything you always wanted to know you will learn right here. Yellow math sheets are a half page of 30 math problems. One is due on Tuesday morning and one is due on Thursday morning. They can be done at any time but they are due on Tuesday and Thursday. I ask that you time your child and then record the time on the paper. Also you need to correct it. The kids hate yellow math sheets, but I find they are a good way to keep the children practicing their math facts. We will start out with addition and subtraction and closer to Christmas we will move on to multiplication and then division.

If you noticed the username and password at the top of the page, this information will get you into the third grade Math book. From there you can click on a chapter or enter a page number and it will take you to the the page. This is useful if your child forgets their Math book. Oops! They can still do their math homework. Please check the weekly assignment sheet for information covered in class for the week. Give me a call if you need an exact page number.
