Mrs. Geary works with both second grades on Math. Through our joint planning, Mrs. Geary keeps me informed as to what the 2nd graders are learning in her class so that I may supplement her lessons during our morning work, center time, etc.

You can help at home by looking at your child's math papers, helping them to correct any mistakes and to understand why they made the mistakes. Were they working too fast?, did they not notice the sign as addition or subtraction? or do they not understand the concept being taught?
