W are learning about the season of Advent. How it is a time of preparing and waiting for the miracle of Jesus' birth. The students did a wonderful job in the first prayer service and we received many compliments. We have been lighting the Advent candle in our room and reading the Christmas story every day. We also use the Advent calendar as part of our morning work. The children talked and wrote about what they could give Jesus for Christmas and these are displayed on our stocking outside our door.
