The students had a difficult time with the bossy r words so Mrs. Geary and I have decided to use this last week to review them. Our lessons will review all of the bossy r sounds "ar", "or", "ir", "er" and "ur".
Also, the students are having a difficult time writing complete sentences, starting sentences with a capital letter and ending them with punctuation as well as using their spelling skills. This is something we work on in class all the time. It would be a help if you could reinforce these skills at home when helping your child with their homework.
